Just a tablespoon of Squirrel Away mixed with 5 pounds of birdseed is enough to make squirrels run from your feeder. Made from capsaicin, which is the spicy part of chili peppers. Squirrel Away is despised by mammals but completely odorless and tasteless to birds. In fact it is an excellent source of Vitamin A for them.     I have tried Chili powder, red pepper flakes and other hot stuff to no avail. This stuff really keeps squirrels from the bird feeder. You need to mix according to instructions (1 tbs. per 5# seed). Squirrels take a taste, then move on. After a few tries, they just skip the feeder altogether. Great stuff!
