Quercus palustris – Native to the Eastern US this oak has brownish gray bark and glossy dark green leaves. Leaves will turn yellow then red and finally russet brown in the fall. Great tree for lawns, if planted near walks or drives will need to be trimmed often. Will reach 50-80ft and is a fairly rapid grower at 12-24 inches a year.
