Rosa Bianca Eggplant - Gorgeous Italian heirloom variety featuring lavender-pink and cream skin. Produces round 4-5 inch diameter fruits that are mild in flavor and rarely bitter. Gourmet and gardeners top choice. Excellent for sautéing and baking; great for eggplant parmesan.
Yellow Pear Tomato - A popular heirloom choice for its huge harvests and sweet lingering flavor. Vines up to 6’ produce 1-2 inch brilliant yellow pear shaped fruits that are wonderful right off the vine. Bred and release by Dr. Yeager from North Dakota in the 1930’s.
Hales Jumbo Muskmelon - Aka Hale’s Best Muskmelon/Cantaloupe. This heirloom muskmelon features firm and sweet orange fruit with heavily netted yellow-green rind. Fruit easily slips from the vines when ripe. An early produces that is drought and mildew resistant.
Red Calabash Tomato - A rare heirloom variety that resemble miniature beefsteaks. Small 2-3oz. ruffled fruits with thin skin and delicious flavor. Documented by William Woys Weaver as appearing in a 1793 painting by Raphael Paele of Philadelphia and traceable to Chiapas, Mexico.
Arugula - Quick and easy to grow heirloom arugula that is perfect for gardeners with short growing seasons. This uniquely flavored green with leaves of 3-6 inches is also great for those in colder climates looking for a green to with stand a frost or grow year round in a cold frame.
