What a clever take on an old idea! This innovative sandbox has a heavy-duty vinyl cover that can be raised or lowered, protecting little ones against the bright sun or rain showers and keeping sand clean and sanitary when not in use. The sandbox is made from Austrian Pine that was taken from sustainable forestry and is certified by the Pan-European Forest Certification. The wood is treated with a water-based, ecologically sound preservative, and all the corners have been softened to help prevent injury. The cover is operated by hand-crank; the automatic brake shoe and safety bolt guarantees safe operation. The closeable sandbox is easy to assemble and measures 56in. L x 56in W x 8in.H bench. 52" Total Height. Sandbox holds 200-400 lbs of sand.
