Havahart® Deer Away® repellent repels deer and rabbits by scent. The value priced Deer Away® contains the strongest level of active ingredient (4.63% Putrescent Egg) and dries odorless to humans. The rotten egg smell simulates decaying protein and the animals believe there is a predator nearby. One application lasts up to 3 months. Deer Away® is OMRI listed and USDA approved for use in Organic Gardening. Use Deer Away® to repel black-tailed deer (mule deer) white-tailed deer and Rossevelt elk that browse or uproot conifer seedlings. Deer Away® can be used to repel white-tailed deer from yew, scotch pine, arborvitae, douglas fir, flowering crabapple, hemlock, honeysuckle, azalea, rhododendron, non-bearing fruit and citrus trees and ornamental shrubs.
