Putting out a few bird feeders is the first step to becoming a true environmental steward. As the days get shorter and colder, your feeders are sure to become a hotbed of activity, not only ensuring that your birds stay healthy throughout the winter, but that your property remains a popular destination during every season. Include a variety of feeder styles to attract finches, hummingbirds, and woodpeckers.
For you controversial feeders of squirrels, we have a few feeders for them, too. If possible, offer them nuts, seeds, berries, and other nutritious foods that they would find in their natural habitat, and be sure to mind your neighbors (squirrels are fun to watch for us, but they can be a handful to anyone that shares a fence with us).
